David retired during the pandemic and experienced emotional loss and spent the last year healing.
Having suffered loss and death of loved ones during loss during the COVID pandemic, an emotional response was triggered inside David forcing him to reevaluate his life and reconnect with himself.
Healing through lack of acceptance from family of origin loved ones, he also had to work through being accepted as a gay man in community. David also survived the HIV/AIDS pandemic and is a two-time cancer survivor.
He came to Puerto Vallarta from Texas to celebrate life and decided to stay longer for a healing sabbatical on his spiritual journey as he adjusts to life without having to work.
Along the way he’s learning to enjoy spending time by himself without having to rely on external sources for his own joy and happiness.
As David says, “If you’ve had any inner child trauma, abuse or neglect, it’s easy to look outside yourself for that validation. At the end of the day, that healing will only come from within—take the time to find your own heart song.”

Because of that, we can choose to be our own healer, we can create our reality, and we can create a life we love for ourselves.
Open-minded to new experiences, David wanted to explore using sacred sexual energy, or creative life force, for healing emotional trauma through breathwork.
Like most gay men, we often use our sexual energy for pleasure. We can also use that energy for healing and spiritual purposes.
Every time we ejaculate during orgasm, the body has to recreate that energy, leaving us energy and drained after sex.
