In this video, special guest, David shares his experience, illustrating the value and importance of gbtq+ men’s tantra breathwork for emotional trauma release.
A survivor of childhood sexual trauma, I know all too well how breathwork can help access surpassed emotions and the subconscious mind to live a happier and healthier life. You can read my personal story of being a survivor of childhood sexual molestation here.
Men’s tantra breathwork for emotional trauma release combines the ancient practice of tantra with modern breathwork techniques to help gay men release emotional trauma.
Breathwork is a powerful tool for emotional healing. It can help to release stress, anxiety, and trauma. When we breathe deeply, calm the nervous system, reduce inflammation, and release blocked emotions.
Men’s tantra breathwork can be especially beneficial for gbtq+ men who have experienced emotional trauma. This is because gay men often face unique challenges and stressors, such as homophobia, discrimination, and internalized homophobia.
These challenges can lead to emotional trauma, which can manifest in a variety of ways, including anxiety, depression, PTSD, and substance abuse.
If you are a gbtq+ man who is struggling with emotional trauma, gbtq+ men’s tantra breathwork may be a helpful tool for you. It can help you to release the pain and suffering of the past and move towards a more peaceful and joyful future.
David retired during the pandemic and experienced emotional loss and spent the last year healing.
Having suffered loss and death of loved ones during loss during the COVID pandemic, an emotional response was triggered inside David forcing him to reevaluate his life and reconnect with himself.
Healing through lack of acceptance from family of origin loved ones, he also had to work through being accepted as a gay man in community. David also survived the HIV/AIDS pandemic and is a two-time cancer survivor.
He came to Puerto Vallarta from Texas to celebrate life and decided to stay longer for a healing sabbatical on his spiritual journey as he adjusts to life without having to work.
Along the way he’s learning to enjoy spending time by himself without having to rely on external sources for his own joy and happiness.
As David says, “If you’ve had any inner child trauma, abuse or neglect, it’s easy to look outside yourself for that validation. At the end of the day, that healing will only come from within—take the time to find your own heart song.”
