“Rage” was inspired by all the gay men in the world who survived the AIDS pandemic in the 80’s and 90’s. For some, there was an ironic sense of rage toward themselves – whether HIV positive or not – who lost all the friends in their life to their own fight against AIDS. In their grief they felt fear, anger and resentment – even hatred toward their own body – because they survived and their friends did not.
