In this short video, you’ll learn “cleansing breaths,” a conscious breathing exercise for stress relief by tapping into divine feminine energy.
In the cosmic dance of life, the Divine Feminine isn’t just a concept for women or goddesses. It’s a vibe, a feeling—a mix of love, gratitude, and compassion that runs through all of us.
So, let’s get real for a moment. I’m what some might lovingly call “gringo loco.” Yep, a bit on the bipolar side. I can easily get worked up, especially when folks dodge their truths. But hey, who isn’t a work in progress? We all have our dark truths, our shadow selves, and let’s be honest, avoiding them is an art we’ve all mastered.
Here’s the deal—I believe we all embody both masculine and feminine energies. No matter where you fall on the gender spectrum, we’re all divine souls experiencing the light and the not-so-light. A shaman friend in Mexico City once dropped some wisdom on me. He said all of it, the shadows, the dark—it’s all light, waiting to be transformed into the good, bright, white light.
When conflicts pop up (and they always do), taking a breath becomes crucial. So, let’s do it together. Inhale through your nose, exhale through your mouth. Feel that? It’s a cleansing breath.
See, conflicts trigger us. We dive headfirst into fight-or-flight mode, and let’s be honest, who likes that? We’re all in it for good vibes, right? So, what do we do? We dodge, we avoid, we create unnecessary drama. Guilty as charged. But here’s the thing—within each of us is a duality. Regardless of gender, we’re a mix of light and dark. It’s part of the human experience.
My shaman friend nailed it when he said, “All of it is just light.” Even the shadows can be transformed. But it starts with that breath, that pause. Take a moment. Catch those triggers before they hijack your reactions. Because when we react without that pause, we’re handing our control to someone else.
As Eckhart Tolle says, be in the power of now. Take a breath, observe what’s going on inside, and yeah, that’s where the feminine energy kicks in. Breathe into the heart center, let that loving awareness guide you. And always, always sprinkle a bit of gratitude and appreciation. We’re living in crazy times (I won’t even get started), but remember, everything out there is just a reflection of what’s inside.
So, as you step out into the world, remember this little reminder I give myself too. Anytime you feel triggered, go back to that commitment to take a moment. Be the witness, breathe into the heart, embrace that feminine energy. We’re all just students on this Earthly journey, doing our best. Namaste, my friend. Make it a beautiful day.
In this guided, divine feminine energy breathwork meditation, you’ll use the power of your breath to:
Here’s a step-by-step guide on how to do a cleansing breath:
As you continue, bring your attention to the sensation of the breath. Feel the cool air entering your nostrils on the inhale and the warm air leaving on the exhale.
If thoughts arise, acknowledge them without judgment and gently guide your focus back to your breath. This mindful approach enhances the cleansing effect.
While breathing, set a positive intention or affirmation. It could be as simple as “I release tension” or “I invite peace.” Align your breath with this intention.
When you feel ready, gradually bring the breath cycle to a close. Take a few natural breaths, and when you’re comfortable, open your eyes.
Remember, the key is to breathe at a pace that feels natural and comfortable for you. Cleansing breaths can be a powerful tool to center yourself and release stress, promoting a sense of well-being. Give it a try and see how it feels for you!
