Like Reiki, quantum physics tells us the energy is the same, regardless of time or distance.
“But Jason, breathwork is much better in person (especially in a group).”
Yes, it’s alot easier to focus on the task at hand in a group setting. The energy of the group moves the energy of the members within the group.
That said, it’s all just a figment of your imagination—the egoic, monkey mind.
Regardless of the time or distance, in person or online, breathwork healing requires you to go within and do the work. No one is going to breathe for you. Only you do that for yourself.
As your guide, a breathwork facilitator, it’s my job to move the energy and safely guide you through the journey.
Ironically, one of the main differences between how breathing online works (verses group breathwork classes) is that when you’are alone, you’re less likely to be influenced by the collective energy.
Regardless of your individualized intention, the effects of group energy are unavoidable.
In a one-on-one breathwork session, you are in a safe container where you can focus on your specific goals and needs.
Further more, in a group setting, it may be challenging to let go of the limiting beliefs of the egoic mind. All too often, unless we truly surrender to the process, we may get bogged down by thoughts of concern (worrying about how we look to others or what they might think of us).
Whether in person or breathing online, work is easier to focus on when you are in a safe space to surrender, let go, and authentically be yourself.
