If you’re reading this, congratulations, you’ve made it to a new year!After a year amidst a global pandemic, quarantine lockdowns, and social distancing, you’ve probably arrived at this day a little wiser, in a higher state of consciousness, and with loving awareness.

So again, I say, congratulations, conscious creator, you’ve made it to this higher state of consciousness with a new level of loving awareness for yourself, others, and the world we share. Happy New Year!

In this blog post, I’ll share with you some fundamental spiritual theories of quantum physics that tell us that not only was 2020 a fantastic year for introspection, self-development, and attaining greater self-awareness but that 2021 promises only to accelerate your growth!

2020 COVID Creative: A Time of Change and Great Awakening

Some have dubbed this a time of the “great awakening of 2020” or the “great reset of 2021” in the guise of intentional (or unintentional) fear-mongering, even suggesting some hidden agenda from an elite state of society attempting to control the masses.

I agree with them, but only to a point. I would agree that we are in a time of great awakening or collective reset, but not because some outside force, either positive or negative, is trying to control you.

Whether we are conscious of it or not, the Coronavirus pandemic has been a time of great introspection—going inward, facing our inner demons or shadows, giving them awareness, and bringing them to the light.

Quantum physics tells us, at least from a metaphysical point of view, that when we think the same thoughts, perform the same actions and experience the same emotions, we are limited to the same unconscious routines, day in and day out, unaware of unconscious behaviors.

Ironically, COVID-19 forced each of us a whole new way of interacting with the world around us. It caused each of us to think differently, get creative, and focus on new ways of creatively solving our lives’ challenges.

COVID Creative Living 101, a Quantum Physics Lesson: Everything is Energy

Let’s not avoid the elephant in the room. It’s true, for many of us, the isolation of lockdowns and social distancing has fostered feelings of loneliness and depression.

And, of course, we send our loving thoughts and prayers to those who’ve experienced tragedy and loss of loved ones in their lives.

And while this collective experience brought each of us into lower states of emotional vibration and frequency, it was a necessary state to open us to the limitless possibilities of healing through silent stillness and open us to higher states of loving awareness.

Through my spiritual journey this year, I’ve concluded there is no right or wrong, no good and evil. Quantum physics tells us everything, again I state, everything is just energy. Nothing more, nothing less.

And this includes every thought, feeling, and experience. Everything then is simply an experience, an opportunity to learn and grow during our time here in the school of life called Earth.

COVID Creative Solution to Solving Life’s Challenges?

By now, this global pandemic has interrupted the flow and routine of every area of our daily lives. Suddenly, all of us had more time between the lockdowns and social distancing—to stop, slow down, and reflect. (which, by the way, is what it means to meditate).

Without going in-depth into any scientific or esoteric schools of thought on the benefits of meditation, the essential benefits of meditation are, in fact, relatively straightforward.

To meditate means to become conscious of your unconscious self through a regular practice of going into a state of stillness of the mind and the body.

By taking a moment to pause, close your eyes, focus on your breath, be in stillness, and eliminate stimuli from the external world, you effortlessly enter into a meditative state

The longer you can stay in this present state of stillness, without trying to force or resist anything, you are no longer focusing on linear time, and you become aware solely of how you think and how you feel.

As you continue to sit in stillness, you begin pruning the mind’s connections with consistency and practice, including memories of past experiences or projections of possible future outcomes.

And, quantum physics tells us that the future is nothing more than a field of limitless possibilities.

A Meditation: “COVID Creative in the Field of Limitless Possibilities”

Through the stillness of meditation, focusing solely on the act of “being” without “doing,” we allow ourselves to enter into a state of awareness beyond the limitations of the fears and limiting beliefs of the conscious mind.

And, here’s the ironic twist: instead of resisting thought, embrace it. At the beginning of your meditation, embrace the ideas that everything begins with a thought, and you are what you think.

Next, set an intention for your meditation. Take control of your thoughts and hold that intention of what you want. Leave the “how” details to the “unknown”—the unpredictable quantum field of limitless possibilities. Surrender, trust, and let go. That’s it!

As you continue your meditation, believe that what you want, you already have. Let that thought orchestrate the events in your life in a way that is just right for you—without force or resistance. Just be, allow what is, what always was, and whatever will be.

The COVID Creative Secret Ingredient for Success

Sitting in stillness with your eyes closed, focusing on your breath, keep that intention at the forefront of your mind. Now, imagine that intention, like a ball of light. Give it loving awareness by imagining it like a glowing white ball of light.

Imagine moving that ball of light into your heart-center. If you find it difficult to visualize, silently say to yourself, “thank you.” Say “thank you” to the thought. Say “thank you” to your body, just for the experience.

Whether given internally or externally, the act of gratitude is the effortless act to move into the higher vibrations of energy.

Then, smile, express gratitude physically with your face.

Now, take a big breath in through your nose. As you exhale, imagine that ball of light traveling through your mind and out the crown of your head.

Release that thought, that intention, surrendering it to the universe—that quantum field of limitless possibilities. Surrender, trust that even if you do not know how it will come to be, that all you have to do is believe. Believe that everything you desire already exists. And then, let it go.

As the ancient zen teaching states, more or less, “before enlightenment; you chop wood, carry water, and after enlightenment; you chop wood, carry water.” Or, as Jack Kornfield said, “after the ecstasy, the laundry.”

We are “human beings,” not “human doings.” The quantum laws of attraction and manifestation don’t need to be some nebulous probability theory—a complicated science we have to wrap our head around.

The fundamentals of all religions teach an elementary lesson here: have faith, trust, and let go. Believe that anything is possible, surrender to that “higher power” (whatever you want to call it) that everything will be okay.

Because if everything is just energy, there is no right or wrong. Everything is happening exactly the way it is supposed to (without you having to “do” anything).

And the coolest thing about all of this is the fact that all you HAVE to “do” is so damn simple:

  1. Take a seat,
  2. Close your eyes,
  3. Focus on your breath,
  4. Get into stillness,
  5. Set an intention,
  6. Ask for what you want,
  7. Give it loving awareness,
  8. Surrender, trust, and believe,
  9. and, let that sh*t go!

A Conclusion for COVID Creative Living

So that’s it, human, stop “doing” and surrender to just “being.” The greatest gift, the most important lesson that this Coronavirus pandemic has given us is so simple.

The last year gave each of us a collective moment to pause, a moment to reboot, to awaken to the simplicity of our divine nature.

So, what are you waiting for? No one is going to give you permission. And, no one is getting in your way—well, except maybe, you!

Take these metaphysical lessons of 2020 from quantum physics as we move into 2021 amidst COVID creative living during an ongoing global pandemic and move forward into the new year with peace, joy, and love in your heart.

You are a creator, you create your reality, and it is your divine birthright to live your best life.
